Dear Parents,

Welcome to Cleveland School, home of the C.U.B.S. (Cleveland University Bound Scholars), for the 2025–2026 school year! We are excited to begin this journey with you and your child.

School will begin on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 8:20 a.m.
Breakfast service will begin at 7:50 a.m.

Students arriving before 8:20 a.m. should report to the cafeteria. Kindergarten through 6th-grade students may enjoy breakfast and/or read quietly until they are dismissed to class.

DAILY SCHEDULE
Please send students to school no earlier than 7:50 a.m.
There is no supervision prior to 7:50 a.m.
All students (Grades TK–8) will attend school from 8:20 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
You will receive an email with emergency card information and additional details for the new school year. Please review the email carefully and update all required information promptly. It is crucial that we have current contact information for every student in case of an emergency. Please also complete and sign the annual signature pages.

Please notify the school immediately if your address or phone number changes.

CLASS ASSIGNMENTS
Class assignments will be temporary for the first three weeks of school. Assignments may be adjusted to meet class size requirements and/or instructional needs.

BREAKFAST & LUNCH
Breakfast and lunch are served daily to all students. Students are also welcome to bring lunch from home.

SCHOOL VISITATION & VOLUNTEER HELP
Parents are encouraged to volunteer in their child’s classroom and maintain regular communication with teachers.

As required by law (Penal Code 627), all visitors must register in the main office and receive a name tag before entering campus. A $500 fine may be imposed for failure to comply.
